Project Description

Positioning and rotation of the measured object on the coordinate measuring machine is performed by hand within a measuring machine space, which can be tedious and slow. This reserach will try to reduce the time and positioning error trhough application of industrial robots with five degrees of freedom of movement. The subject is positioned within a coordinate measuring machine by means of industrial robot. The results will be analyzed with measurement uncertainty analysis of such complex measurement system.
